Kendra Scott | Graphic Design Internship

From May to August 2023, I had the wonderful opportunity to intern with Kendra Scott on their Creative Services team. Headquartered in Austin, TX, Kendra Scott is a jewelry company known for making innovative and thoughtfully crafted products while doing good and giving back to your community. During my time at Kendra Scott, I worked on a variety of things, such as social media posts, store signage, email blasts, wholesale graphics, campaign concepts, and more.

I will share this work as each project is released to the public.

The Elisa Campaign

One of the biggest projects I was put on during my time at KS was the “Hey Elisa” Campaign. This campaign was created to spotlight the Kendra Scott bestselling Elisa necklace while targeting Gen-Z college students. Myself and two other KS interns came up with the concept of personifying the Elisa necklace, turning it into an illustrated character. The Elisa character ended up becoming the mascot of the campaign, used across almost all of the collateral items involved: coffee cups, tote bags, social media posts, etc. I also selected the main typography that was used for the “Hey, Elisa” logo. The Elisa Campaign visited 8 college campuses and reached almost 6 million impressions across all KS social channels.

In the initial phases of character development, I experimented with different colors, facial expressions, accessories, and positioning of the character.
